The indigenous peoples of the Americas believed that turquoise were bits of the sky that had fallen to earth. Navajo warriors would fix turquoise stones to their arrows to help them aim more true. Whilst we're not expecting you to wear this ring into combat (apart from battling for a space on the train) we love this little piece of trivia.
